CEREMONIES SUCH AS LIGHTING A CANDLE OR INCENSE SEEM LIKE THEY SHOULD BE UNNECESSARY BUT...........
A ceremony could be as simple as calling in your angels, guides and masters as you meditate and it could also be termed a ritual behavior. What I have determined through the years is that while at the same time a ceremony or ritual may seem that you are giving your power away to something - actually the ritual itself allows you to build energy in magnified action and power in the act itself.
We all have rituals before going to sleep at night - your normal routine. We may have usual things we do before we meditate and these are ritual behaviors.
I walked through a time in my life where I thought "I don't need to do this stuff any more". After a long time, I realized that what was happening during the ceremonies or rituals was much, much more than what I'd originally thought. I returned to using the lighting of a candle to bring something forth symbolically like the light of peace and love. I returned to lighting my incense to bring a cleansing to my space along with many other ceremonies.
In essence, it is your INTENSION and your DESIRE to bring something about which MAGNIFIES the power to the ceremony or ritual. You need to add your desire or heart into the mix or it will be an empty ceremony. Your heart seed is where the kingdom of heaven resides within you which means all manifestations need to be mixed with the heart energies of strong and powerful emotion/feelings.
This sets in motion a doorway of powerful spiritual energy to manifest as you invest your energy in the ceremony or ritual. Remember Jesus said "Ask and it shall be given to you - Knock and the Door shall be Opened unto you".
The earth game is played with lots of symbology. So I am not suggesting that you give your power away as if something outside yourself is bigger, greater, or more knowing than you - rather I am suggesting that you intend a powerful action in a specific "act" "ceremony" or "ritual" that you magnetize powerful spiritual energy to.
Remember that what you focus on becomes much greater and as you devote attention everyday to something it grows in power. The power is really yours. It comes from you. It is your ceremony and your rituals. You are co-creator with the Source. You create your own magnifications of power.
